Tim Karlson was definitely one of the good guys of the business. Never did I meet anyone who had anything to say about him. In the brief time I knew him, Tim was a professional who would always help others.

Am I missing it, or does the TL story never mention that Tim Karlson had cancer? He battled it publicly for more than a dozen years. And is the writer the same Tom Robinson who used to work at the Scranton Times?

As stupid as it sounds, TL didn't have an official cause of death until after it went to press.

Tom Robinson is the same guy who used to work for the Scranton Times. Now, he's the highest paid stringer on the TL's payroll. He gets more per story than most full-timers do for a whole days work.

Tom Robinson used to rent our house. He was kind of a douchebag then. Not sure how he is now.

Err, that should read "Never did I meet anyone who had anything BAD to say about him."

Bye Tim, and RIP. I've heard many people in the area talk about his passing and remember him fondly
