Columbia student writes about Scranton's anti-Obama Democrats

The substantial number of anti-Obama Democrats in Scranton has gotten a free pass from the press, especially concerning people like Tony Rodham, Jamie Brazil and other Hillary people who have cast their lot with McCain. A Columbia University student wrote an interesting story about the phenomenon.

I've met these people. They fall into three categories: old pro-life crones who are "so upset about the abortion issue" yet haven't had sex in 30 years so really don't understand the pro-choice movement anyway, whacko conspiracy theorists who switch parties as often as most people switch socks, and Hillary supporters who are so butthurt that she didn't get the Democratic nod that they're willing to shit on everything she (and supposedly they) hold dear just to prove a point.

Did the reporter mention that the office in West Side is the only office in the tri-state area, hence the supporters from NYC? I didn't notice that part. I also didn't notice the part where she mentioned that most of the volunteers are a bunch of Desperate Housewives headed by a former school board candidate who has nothing better to do. Oh, maybe she didn't know that.

They can all go fuck themselves. Our party doesn't need their turn-coat brand of Democrat.

Children! These women are children! There was a piece on them on This American Life, I was shocked.

I live in NYC but am PROUD of my working class roots (i'm still working class!) in NEPA. These women are what is wrong with America and I am ashamed...ashamed of these old effing hags. I'm trying to avoid using the word "cunt" to describe these used, ugly women...but i'll use it anyway...what a bunch of cunts.

Nice to see you Obama supporters show your sexism and lack of critical thinking skills.

These women are...well women. There is no sexism in the truth. And they are the ones not using critical thinking. Critical thinking involves analysis and evaluation of circumstances NOT the petulant whims.

To allow comments that use the words hag, c-nt, and other sexist remarks greatly diminishes the reputation and credibility of this blog.
