I like the TL Web site even though I work at another city paper.
I guess you like sites with nothing but text and almost no photo or multimedia. Admit it, they took a step backward - the old site was better.
I don't like busy Web site. I like a clean look.
If clean means void of anything people actually look for on a Website, then yes, the TL site is quite clean. It's all text. Yawn.
