Kurt and Stacy Knapek head south
TL editor Matt Golas broke bread with Dave Iseman and the Knapeks last night. Sports editor Kurt Knapek and designer Stacy Knapek are heading to Myrtle Beach, S.C. to work on the newspaper. Isn't Lane Filler there?

I wish Lane well. He's taken this comments page to another level. This is the best post I've seen produced here in the last five to 10 years. Maybe 20.
I hope someone is considering my contribution to the TL sports department during the first few years of the new millenium. Hey, has anyone seen Angry Ann around here?
Wait, did Lane Filler, former known as Column Filler, say that a move from the TL to Spartanburg is ADVANCING his career?
I liked Kurt in my dealings with him, but for Filler to say he did anything but drag the paper closer to the bottom of the drain is an outright exaggeration.
