Frank Andrews Shimkus plans write-in bid

Read today's installment of "Don't Ask Frank Andrews Any Hard Questions." Today, Frank claims to be planning a write-in bid on the Republican ballot this fall, even though he's a Democrat. Nice.

The crazy thing is that Shimkus is actually a pretty good representative, working to serve his district.

He's one of the better of a mediocre lot in Harrisburg.

Then again, maybe I'm just buying the press releases written by (what's it say here?) somebody named "Gabrielle Prutisto."

Are we SURE Frank is running as a write-in? Any chance he's lying?

OK, here's the plan. We don't need to interrupt the natural stream of ideas in these threads. Proceed with your regular posts as normal, but at the end simply add a number 9 if you think O'Boyle is an incompetent print reporter.

Hey Anon-
Actually Prutisto does not have that job anymore...
Let's hope he beats Murphy any way he can

Frank's a good rep, you have to admit it. He's got his constituents at heart. I don't know how he was to work for, but if he were running in my district, I'd vote for him. 9

Its 11:00, do you know what home Frank is in? Don't worry, he doesn't either!

Frank is a very good representative and does work diligently for his constituents. Can you imagine Kevin Murphy meeting with senior citizens and veterans, etc., on a regular basis? Yeah, he'd hold his meetings at the Liederkranz.

Frank has committed himself to helping others. Gabrielle loves him for it. Too bad there are so many assholes in the world jealous of others instead of making themselves better. Go Frank! I'm voting for you.

I agree - Frank's a great representative for us. I see him on the TV all of the time, and he seems like such a nice guy - heyna or no? I'm voting for him a couple, two, tree times (the NEPA way!), and I don't even live in his district.

Oh - wait - neither does he...

6:23 AM--
Frank, good to hear from you.

Since Frank wrote all of Gabrielle's stories at 22, I wonder if he'll have to write his own name on her ballot?

Frank is a great representative...of all the lying, fat, bloated, egotistical, low-life, cheating schmucks who think he's worth the skin it takes to cover him.

Oh, and Frank, keep posting here. You're so transparent.

I'm sorry. What's the issue again? Whether Frank was living in an apartment in his district, renting a house in his district, or living in a house he owned in his district?
Is this really an errection-generating scandal?

The issue is his attempting to deceive people, people like you, who he thinks are stupid enough to drink his Kool-Aid.

He lied about about his own address and thought he wouldn't get caught. That's the issue, plain and simple.

11:14: no Frank, we don't care about your erections. We care about an elected representative who can't tell the truth about something as simple as his home address.
