Local boy is a top editor at Field & Stream

This won't do much to fuel the TL vs. CV fires, but it's a nice story about a guy from Dimock (Susquehanna County, halfway between Montrose and Tunkhannock, I had to look it up) who made it big in New York City writing about fishing.

Good for him. As a top editor at this fine commercial outdoors mag (which gives at least some coverage to real honest-to-gawd conservation issues, unlike the rest of the hook-and-bullet mags whose target audience seems to be the beer-drinking, ATV-riding, NRA shilling Bubba crowd) he'll at least get to see some real wildlands, not the impoverished deer-overrun woods of Pennsylvania.

That's nice. I agree with the above poster. It's a great mag and it's good to see a regional person achieve some success.
