God bless the little creatures at the CV

Not a good day for the CV or for Times-Shamrock. The Times Leader piles on, with a staff editorial along with the usual Matt Golas newsroom note about how retarded it was for the Voice and the Scranton Times-Tribune to ignore the Lynett family tour of the Times Leader on Sunday and then write a story about the tour that relies solely on the TL story. Romenesko bites, making the flap (Citizens' Voice unable to confirm parent's tour of KR paper) his lead story for a time.

Question: Is Golas writing specifically to get on Romenesko?

Is anyone actually surprised the CV/Tribune did not write anything of substance about their own interest in the TL?
Yet another sad glimpse of what life would be like in a one-paper Lynettville.
Fortunately, people with deeper pockets are starting to realize that.

DO YOU REALLY THINK THIS WAS PLANNED? YOU REALLY THINK THE VOICE WOULD INTENTIONALLY LET ITSELF GET BEAT BY YOU?

The only reason the TL got the story is because they SAW the tour. Should a Voice reporter be stationed in a lawn chair in front of the TL building day and night? Is this really that important?

Instead of citing the TL, I guess the Voice should have done what Fennick did when she liked the lede and info from an AP story about the KR sale: steal it. And if you want proof that she did it call AP writer Seth Sutel for details. He is in NYC. Maybe I should send that little factoid to Romenesko.

What's the difference between Pat and his "brass" not talking due to "confidentiality agreement" and the Lynett "brass" not talking due to bidniss operational security? And who is better poised to report when the King slips out of the castle to visit the hyena cage . . . the King's court, or the hyenas?

Of course it wasn't intentional. The CV gets unintentionally beaten every day.
We're talking about the day after, douchey
Instead of calling Seth, why not post the matching phrases from the stories?

I'm not doing your homework for you. Let's just say it has a little something to do with this phrase: and then there were eight.

go figure it out. anyone that reads the wire and had google can figure this one out.
