Just goes to show you how meaningless these award things are. The Standard-Speaker is as god-awful a newspaper as you'll find in any town, anywhere.
That's kinda harsh...There was a good story...it just happened to be in Hazleton.And since the Standard-Speaker doesn't have much to cover otherwise -- they could dig dip into the topic. I think it's slightly unfair to all them the god-awful paper.
they should enjoy it now considering theyve been bought and are gonna be closed.
Who bought them? And why would they be closed?They're the only paper that covers the Hazleton area.
The Standard-Speaker can't even spell things correctly, let alone write a good story. "God-awful" is very fitting.
