If Connor had only shown such compassion for the talented, sensitive people he has instinctively fired at the TL and in Texas he might be more believable. What a crock.

Wait 'til next week. He'll change the name of his dead friend and run the same column in the TL.

Mr. Nepa media, why are you so obsessed with everything Richard Connor does?Christ, if the guy farts on his way into work, are you going to report that, too? If he does something stupid, funny, brilliant, fine, report it on this site. Frankly, I'm tired of seeing his mug so much this site for such trivial crap as this.

Great point. You don't see every other publisher all over this site.

Alert! Alert!

BREAKING NEWS: NEW TIE

Connor is wearing a new tie in his mug shot for the Texas paper!

TO GREAT POINT MARCH 20 Most publishers don't need to make spectacles of themselves, they'd rather showcase their staff and product.

So watch out, he'll suck you up and spit you out too.

Hey 11:38, maybe Connor is a frequent target because he puts himself out there so shamelessly. Name another publisher ANYWHERE who puts his Sunday column on the main Web page EVERY DAY of the week. He clearly wants the attention. So he's getting it.

talented, sensitive people? Who Golas, Iseman. Everyone that has been canned deserved it.

Guess that depends on your definition of deserve.

Bigger question / issue: Where in the world is Howard Beale?

Rich Connor is nothing but a fraud. He's here to rake in as much cash as possible, then sell the place to Times-Scumrock. He was a scumbag 20 years ago, and he still is today.

To the person who doesn't know what "deserve" means. In this instance, it means you get what you had coming for years. Or, you get what you dished out.

I didn't know he had any fuckin' friends.

Ok, I've got it now. "What a Crock" is the new "phrase that pays" on this message board. What did I win?
