I remember hearing a story from a LONG time ago, when WGBI had the opportunity to become a 50,000 watt station, like the major stations in NYC and Boston. For whatever reason, WGBI passed on it, and the 50,000 watt frequency went to a station out in Indiana.
Neat to think of what could've been, had WGBI upped its power.
