It is a sad day, when a guy named "Josh" wins anything.

That used to be a word that means "to fool someone."

As one who's been on the receiving end of several "best of..." awards, let me assure that I am convinced ballot-box stuffing is pretty much the norm. As to who does the stuffing, draw your own conclusions. As with most every one of these lists I've seen over 15 years or so, a number of names and places leave you thinking, "What the f***?"

I also know of a case where someone garnered the vast majority of votes but didn't win, because they paper sponsoring the contest didn't want them to win. I will leave you to guess what paper, because ALL local papers have run similar promotions through the years.

The contest is rigged??? I'm shocked...SHOCKED I say!

Congrats Josh!

The lame, nasty pricks that frequent this hell-hole are a bit jealous they didn't garner a vote.

Explain to me how a lifestyles reporter is the best reporter in NEPA?

This kid doesn't do hard news. He doesn't even have live deadlines. He writes Northeast Women stories and stories about whatever musical act is at the Kirby Center that week.

Yes, Josh is a nice guy. Best reporter, hardly.
