We're late getting to this, but the Pocono Record featured prominently in Thursday's New York Times coverage of the shooting of two city cops. The NYT used a photo (left) by Pocono Record photographer David Kidwell, and editor Susan Koomar was quoted.
7:40 -- You should be ashamed of yourself for even mentioning Lane Filler's name in your post. That man could make any copy editor's red pen run out of ink. What a joke!
Did the books in the Hoyt Library ever make the NYT? Let's face it, if anything deserved such national headlines, it was the books. They survived such a horrific library collapse, perhaps the worst in the nation in recent years.
