Chris Kelly writes a slightly-too-advertorial-like ode to the Times, which officially disappears today before its merger with the morning Tribune.
"The transition to a single morning newspaper comes without a single layoff," Kelly, reportedly a big fan of management, writes. What about all the afternoon paper boys? Well, they're contract employees, you see. They don't count.
