The poor, pathetic TL

Now, the paper was never above promoting its business interests in the McHugh/Walzer days. But would the paper have ever published toilet paper like this as news? Sad.

  1. OK, when Ron Bartiek writes something ... You can disregard it IMMEDIATELY..

If the term "useless fuck" applies to anyone ... it's him.

  4. NE PA should just have one newspaper now called the Citizens Times Standard Leader Voice Tribune Speaker.
All remaining shreds of integrity and originality are gone.

  6. Low, very low, behavior. What little shred of journalistic standards the TL once had have been thrown overboard with this kind of garbage. Why not just give page one below the fold to WVM and be done with it?

    Valley Motors isn't a part-owner of the T-L, hmmmmm?

  9. Could that be why the TL was searching for a business reporter?

  10. To 6:12 anon: Interesting speculation. Hell, anything's possible. Maybe Louis Pagnotti III has a piece of the action, too. Or perhaps Louis DeNaples. Who the hell knows? Of one thing we can be sure, the "public" won't. So, the TL -- part and parcel of the grandiose "Fourth Estate;" part of the public trust -- goes on hiding its bankrollers.

  11. No, the TL is searching for a business reporter because Renita Fennick is the city editor and isn't wearing both hats. What a bunch of ill-informed idiots. Gosh.

  15. The Times Tribune's top story for the past week has been Kelly's 12 Days of Christmas. Kind of cute the first day but pretty friggin' lame a week later. Enough's enough.
