Here's a suggestion: If you're going to run something called "Model of the Week," how about finding good looking people. Most of the girls featured wouldn't look good in a dark bar after 10 drinks. Seriously.

ReplyDeleteI agree that you have to be a "special" kind of person to like NASCAR (I am tying to be nice here), however, it is a smart business move by any company. Papers always sell more when there is a special NASCAR feature in it... I think it says something sad about this country, but it is true.

ReplyDeleteIt's all about the nepotism on this one. How many photos of her relative will you see in the Weekender photos each week; how many photo galleries of her boyfriend's band. Get off you arse and actually do some work, Rachel. It's not that hard.
And 9:39, you're right. It is a little feature and not news, but almost everything in that paper is feature and not news. That's the idea of the whole thing. Some people should just be a little more professional about how they go about doing things.
I don't want to admit it, but I am actually finding myself reading Pit Pass. It's not that bad. The guy doesn't lend himself to be an expert and actually finds some decent stuff to put into it.
