Not really. But editor Mike Lello updates readers on the latest changes at Luzerne County's biggest entertainment weekly published by Rich Connor.

  1. He looks attractive from that pic.

Is that I truth? I've never met the guy.

  2. Here's a suggestion: If you're going to run something called "Model of the Week," how about finding good looking people. Most of the girls featured wouldn't look good in a dark bar after 10 drinks. Seriously.

  3. To 11:21am

Instead of finding good looking chicks, maybe they can just include a quart of tequila with every issue. That would help quite a bit and make it feel like my actual bar-whore experience.

    I'm just sayin'...

  4. Um ... Maybe before you call something "horrible" you should learn how to spell the word?

  6. To 10:38...

I agree that you have to be a "special" kind of person to like NASCAR (I am tying to be nice here), however, it is a smart business move by any company. Papers always sell more when there is a special NASCAR feature in it... I think it says something sad about this country, but it is true.

  9. You're wound way too tight, man. Who cares if it's a relative. It's just a fun little feature, not news.

  10. You've really got to be kidding me. How many times are you going to see a relative or the owner of 5-7-0 Tattooing in The Weekender?

It's all about the nepotism on this one. How many photos of her relative will you see in the Weekender photos each week; how many photo galleries of her boyfriend's band. Get off you arse and actually do some work, Rachel. It's not that hard.

And 9:39, you're right. It is a little feature and not news, but almost everything in that paper is feature and not news. That's the idea of the whole thing. Some people should just be a little more professional about how they go about doing things.

  11. I don't want to admit it, but I am actually finding myself reading Pit Pass. It's not that bad. The guy doesn't lend himself to be an expert and actually finds some decent stuff to put into it.
