James Conmy of the CV reports the DA thinks news interviews constitutes "special treatment." In support of is cause, he cited some hayseed counties that don't allow media interviews with prisoners period.
Yeah, but it also gives inept prosecutors like Lupas the complete stage. I think the DA is just angry that Hugo painted him to be such a doofus before and during the trial. Prisoners should have the same access to the media to spin their stories just like the law enforcement agents and officers.
The DA's right. It just gives killers and other assholes a free public forum.
